We believe in local, loving and Earth conscious products without the conglomerate. To that end, we believe it’s our duty to create and sell the finest, locally and freely grown cannabis products in New England.

The Hempest has a 20 Year history in Northampton, and the Pioneer Valley. It was founded in 1995 with the conviction that bringing hemp back to the marketplace and into full view of the public was the best way to counter the misinformation and ignorance that has surrounded this plant for years. At this present time, corporate cannabis is invading Massachusetts and we are working with as many locals as possible to curate the best selection of locally grown and sourced products we can get our hands on. Cannabis is our craft and has been for 25 Years and counting.

In fact, it has been our goal since 1995 to contribute to a cleaner and greener future for all. With our experience from producing hemp derived products, local partnerships with farmers and global relationships, we believe that goal is not out of reach.
